Suwannee River State Park

We started out from home today about 10am after tightening our home up for our long journey. We ventured up to Gainesville to visit Barbara’s granddaughters Rachel and Daniel. Rachel just gave birth to a lovely new baby girl Kinley just two weeks ago. This was our first chance to see our new great grandchild. We had a lovely visit taking several pictures with mother and great grandmother, Barbara. From Gainesville we traveled north to Suwannee River State Park just north of Live Oak, FL in the Florida panhandle. We spent a lovely late afternoon hiking along the banks of the Suwannee River enjoying the views that Robert Foster made famous. We had thunderstorms all around us but none that settled over the park giving us time to hike and take pictures.
